Wind energy on land (onshore)
To generate electricity the kinetic energy of the wind is converted into a rotary movement by the turbine's rotor blades, the rotary movement drives a generator inside the nacelle - similar to a bicycle dynamo. Design of the rotor blades, as well as the wind speed, is decisive for the yield. If the wind speed doubles the output of the turbine can increase eight-fold.

The Full Picture of Renewable Energy
At first glance, many reservations regarding renewable energy sources appear plausible. Yet they often conceal a completely different picture.
Background information
More wind energy with fewer turbines
Wind is everywhere and the right turbine is available for every location.
