The energy efficient house – sustainable and future proof
Well insulated roofs and facades, as well as modern windows and doors, significantly reduce heating and cooling requirements. Energy efficient appliances and sophisticated building technology also contribute to reducing consumption. Heat pumps use renewable energy sources such as outside air, soil, or groundwater and efficiently convert them into heating energy. In combination with photovoltaic systems, self generated electricity can be used optimally even for e-mobility. This makes buildings more independent, cheaper to operate, and more climate friendly.
Insulation and modern windows protect against heat and cold, while roller shutters provide additional protection. Shading provided by projecting roofs, trees and plants also helps to ensure a pleasant indoor climate.
