juwi strengthens hybrid solutions with appointment of experienced mining power executive
The Australian manager has 25 years of international
experience in power solutions for mines and remote energy consumers. From
Perth, the centre of the mining industry in Western Australia, and in close
proximity to African mining, he will be pursuing projects that will combine
solar, wind and batteries with thermal power stations or the grid. Dave took up
his new responsibilities on April 23rd and reports to Amiram Roth-Deblon, Head
of Global Business Initiatives. “Dave Manning is a recognized expert in the
industry and will enable more mining companies and power producers to benefit
from juwi’s unique hybrid solutions,” says Amiram Roth-Deblon.
Dave Manning’s first contacts with juwi were as Managing Director of a leading IPP for power supply to mines. He was involved in the DeGrussa Sandfire project as the thermal power station owner from initial contract negotiation, all the way through to project completion. He has worked several years in the USA and in management positions in Australia and brings a wealth of remote power generation solutions experience to juwi’s customers.
“Having worked with juwi in the past, I am excited to join the team and to be a part of the continuous improvement and development of the hybrid sector. I look forward to contributing my experience and knowledge to support mining experts and industrial energy consumers to tap into the benefits of hybrids."
